GONGRATULATIONS!!!

That's right, Duke family! Get ready for another little bundle of cuteness, courtesy of Steve and Andra. Coming to a family party next spring (May 15th, to be exact), we are excited to announce the up and coming attraction, little Gertrude (or Ishmael if it's a boy) Duke. YAAAAAAY! Three is an adventure!!

Photo Cards

I spend a lot more time at home than I ever thought I would. I thought I would try to do something productive with the few hours of spare time I have while I am at home. I have been toying around with photoshop a lot lately, because I have wanted to transition my scrapbooking to digital. Along the way, I had a neighbor ask me to design a logo for her photography business. She liked all of the different choices so much, she practically BEGGED me to create custom cards for her photography clients.
That's how I got to where I am now. The business is not set up yet, but it is coming along nicely. I thought I would share some of my designs, in case you would like me to create something for your family. Right now, I am just trying to build up my collection, so if you would like me to make you something, it would be free (you just pay for the printing, which is around 9 cents a piece from a website like Snapfish. In return for your free design, I would only ask that you let me use it for clients to see to give them ideas. Let me know what you think!

July Birthdays

Steve and Andra have invited the family to their house to celebrate July birthdays. We will BBQ at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 12th, but you are welcome to come earlier. If you don't know what your food assignment is, call Steve. They will provide hamburgers and hot dogs, but if you want to have something else, you are welcome to bring it. Cheryl's Birthday/ Work on Grandma's Yard

We will be getting together to work on Grandma's yard Saturday, May 17th at 8 a.m. Afterwards, we will have a BBQ to celebrate Cheryl's birthday at Mom and Dad's house. Please bring meat for your family to BBQ, as well as your assignment (below) to share. See you there! And yes, Kim, you can come if you want (since I think you're the only person who reads this blog!).

Sydney's Baptism

The big day is April 19th. The baptism program starts at 11 a.m. at Doug and Cheryl's stake center. Be there or be square! We will also be celebrating all of the April birthdays afterward, so don't forget presents for the little ones.
